Umber & Ochre
Raj Nehru Jacket in Camel Plaid
DETAILS
A functional year-round style, the Akash chore coat is a versatile outerwear piece. Ours is crafted from sturdy yet soft handwoven nubby cotton. It has a longer length, a very relaxed fit, and features hand-carved horn buttons.
MATERIALS
Yaks are found in the wild in the Ladakh region of India. Yaks have been domesticated in Leh Ladakh from thousands of years and they are a very valuable animal in the Himalayan economy. Our woven texture and shade takes reference from the majestic Yak. Our woven tweed fabric was inspired by window panes around the region.
Handwoven at a unique handloom weaving cooperative in a Himalayan mountainside village in Northern India where wool weaving has been practiced for over 5,000 years.
